A medium-sized echeveria, the leaves of Echeveria glauca form rosettes that can reach over 15cm wide. They create a glaucous (blue/grey) hue. Producing pups as rosettes around the base, Echeveria glauca will neatly fill out a pot over time. Planted in bulk they will combine together to form a pleasantly delicate and hardy groundcover, able to withstand light frost.

Echeverias are easy to care for succulents forming clumping rosettes of coloured leaves. They are a collection of 150 species, native to the central Americas, with many more varieties bred in cultivation to provide a vast array of attractive drought tolerant plants.

General care for echeverias is quite simple, requiring soil with good drainage and infrequent watering. They can grow in a range of conditions, from indoors to outdoors and even survive light frosts.
